On Sunday September 29th 2024, the eager students of Al-Noor Sunday School delivered a wonderful assembly, to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). There were smiles everywhere as the audience of parents, elders and community members were treated to a sparkling 90 minutes of Quranic recitation, naats and nasheeds, speeches and performances. This impressive display certainly reflected the sincere and tireless efforts of the teachers at the Sunday School.
To conclude the event, the students were treated by the visit of one of the most prominent scholars of the Muslim Ummah, Mufti Muneeb al-Rahman (Pakistan). He was visibly overjoyed by the efforts of the School to ensure the Mawlid remains in their hearts of Muslims for generations to come. In a short address, he praised the all the staff and student and offered his heartfelt prayers for all.
