Al-Noor Masjid is wholly committed to the teaching, preserving and preaching of the perfect word of Allah, the Holy Qur’an. Under the supervision of Qari Hafiz Karim Sultan Siddiqui, we are proud to offer a Hifz al-Quran class every weekday evening. Great emphasis has been placed in these classes to ensure students memorise the Qur’an to the highest standards of tajwid. Moreover, the expertise of our teacher means teaching is done in a manner to ensure students revise what they have memorised competently.
Throughout the Islamic year, Al-Noor Masjid hosts numerous programmes to benefit the spiritual wellbeing of the community. These events include:
Salah al-Tarawih and Khatm al-Quran in Ramadan
Mawlid al-Nabi
The Night of al-Isra wa’l Mi’raj
The Night of al-Bara’a (15th Sha’ban)
The Urs events to mark Ala Hazrat, Shaykh Abd al-Qadir Jilani (Giwayrween Sharif), Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh and Khwaja Moin al-Din Chishti Ajmeri (Gharib Nawaz), may Allah be pleased with them all.
