Al-Noor Masjid had a Jumu’a prayer like no other on the 27th September 2024, when the two Friday sermons were delivered by two of the most prominent scholars today. For the first congregation at 2pm, the Grand Mufti of Pakistan Mufti Muneeb al-Rahman delivered a beautiful sermon reminding Muslims of their duties to fellow Muslims. This was followed by the sermon from one of the prominent Islamic preachers of the world today, Mawlana Muhammad Shakir Ali Noorie. He is the founder of Sunni Data Islami (SDI), which is a worldwide organisation that has successfully preached the loving version of Islam for many decades. Mawlana Shakir Noorie used his sermon to eloquently remind Muslims the need to hold on the greatest gift Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) brought, which is the Holy Qur’an.
